Zusammenfassung
Bei körperlicher Arbeit wird ein Großteil der eingesetzten Energie in Wärme umgewandelt, so daß es zu einem Temperaturanstieg der Arbeitsmuskulatur kommt. Die anfallende Wärme wird anschließend z. T. über das Transportmedium Blut abgeleitet, und es kommt zu einem Anstieg der zentralvenösen Bluttemperatur. Der Zusammenhang zwischen zentralvenöser Bluttemperatur und der Herzfrequenz unter Belastung war daher Inhalt zahlreicher Studien (Alt, 1986; Alt, 1988; Aulick, 1981; Csapo, 1976; Fearnot, 1984; Greenleaf, 1979; Griffin, 1983; Isbruch, 1988; Jolgren, 1984; Jutzy, 1983; Laczkovics, 1982; Laczkovics, 1984; Maron, 1977; Nielsen, 1938; Saltin, 1968; Sellers, 1987; Snellen, 1972; Sugiura, 1983; Sugiura, 1984; Werner, 1984). Da beide Parameter im physiologischen Bereich der menschlichen Körperkerntemperatur miteinander korrelieren, wurde die zentralvenöse Bluttemperatur 1976 erstmals von Csapo et al. zur Steuerung frequenzadaptiver Schrittmachersysteme vorgeschlagen.
