Zusammenfassung

Das Problem der Hypotonie in jüngeren und mittleren Jahren ist weitschichtig, vielfach etwas verworren und wird von Land zu Land verschieden gewertet. Begriffe wie Hypotonie, orthostatische Dysregulation, Orthostasesyndrom, hypodyname und hypotone Regulationsstörung u.a.m. werden nicht selten verwechselt und zur Ursache zahlreicher Beschwerden erklärt, die zu einem erheblichen Teil psychosomatischer oder psychovegetativer Natur sein dürften.
