Zusammenfassung

Ein großer Teil der experimentellen Arthritismodelle und alle spontanen chronischen Gelenkentzündungen der Tiere werden durch vermehrungsfähige Erreger oder durch Erregerbestandteile ausgelöst. Auch die unter dem Begriff der „reaktiven Arthritis“ beim Menschen zusammengefaßten Arthritisformen werden immer häufiger mit einer primären bakteriellen Infektion in Zusammenhang gebracht (Van Bohemen et al. 1984).
