Wir betrachten eine Mischung, d.h. eine aus mehreren Substanzen bestehende Stoffportion. Ist diese homogen, so stellt sie eine einzelne Phase dar. Dann heißt die Mischung 1) auch Mischphase. Die Mischung kann aber ebenfalls ein Raumelement eines kontinuierlichen Systems sein.
