Zusammenfassung

Wenn die klassische Triade Gefühllosigkeit, Schwäche und Schwellungsgefühl an einem Arm oder beiden oberen Gliedmaßen auftritt, so muß der Verdacht auf eine mechanische Einwirkung auf das neurovaskuläre Bündel im Bereich der oberen Thoraxapertur entstehen. Die Symptome sind häufig nur vage und die äußerlichen Befunde normal. Deswegen ist eine gezielte Untersuchungstechnik notwendig und manchmal auch ein gezielter Behandlungsversuch (diagnosis ex juvantibus).
