Zusammenfassung

Das Gallensystem hat die Aufgabe, die Galle von der Leber zum Darm zu leiten. Es besteht aus Gallengängen und Gallenblase (Abb. 5.1, 5.2 und 5.4). Die kleineren Gallengänge innerhalb des Leberparenchyms laufen den Pfortaderästen parallel und vereinigen sich zu einem rechten und einem linken Ductus hepaticus. Diese vereinigen sich am Leberhilus zum Ductus hepaticus communis. Der Ductus cysticus verbindet die Gallenblase mit dem Ductus hepaticus communis, der von da an als Ductus choledochus bezeichnet wird und distal 5–7 mm weit ist.
