Zusammenfassung

In der Diskussion um die Pathogenese der Leberveränderungen bei der chronischen Polyarthritis spielen antirheumatisch wirksame Medikamente eine große Rolle. Ein Teil der Autoren glaubt die bei der chronischen Polyarthritis gefundenen Leberveränderungen ausschließlich oder wenigstens zum großen Teil auf Medikamenteneinwirkung zurückführen zu können. Tatsächlich sind von allen diesen Substanzen, die vom Polyarthritiker über Jahre und Jahrzehnte genommen werden müssen, beim Menschen unerwünschte Leberreaktionen beschrieben worden.
