Zusammenfassung
Neben der prohypertensiven Funktion der Niere scheinen auch renale antihypertensive, protektive Funktionsmechanismen zu existieren (4, 15, 17), so daß die Niere offensichtlich entgegengesetzt wirkende Regulationssysteme enthält. Hypertensive Zustände wären somit nicht allein die Folge drucksteigernder Mechanismen, sondern könnten auch Ausdruck eines relativen oder absoluten Überwiegens des vasokonstriktorischen Regulationssystems bei relativem oder absolutem Mangel des antihypertonen, vasodepressorischen Systems sein; dies auf Grund eines relativen oder absoluten Mangels depressorisch wirkender Substanzen wie der Prostaglandine, durch Mangel an Prostaglandin-Präkursoren oder infolge einer Prostaglandin-Synthesestörung (5, l O, 16). Bei der Blutdruckregulation von normotonen und hypertonen Zuständen dürfte ein Ineinandergreifen dieser beiden Prinzipien vorliegen.
