Abstract
I am grateful for this opportunity to speak on a problem of vital importance to the future of our agriculture and to the welfare of our farmers. The title for the discussion is “Genetic Diversity and the Indian Seed Industry“. I would at the outset like to spend a few minutes on the basics.
