Abstract

The microsurgical techniques developed over the past 30 years have enabled nerve grafting techniques to become standardized to a large extent. Although some variations exist, there is agreement on the basic principles. In fact, it has been said that the surgical technique may have reached an optimal level, even though the results often remain disappointing.
