Zusammenfassung
Das Ohr erweist sich nicht zuletzt dadurch als Zeitsinn, daß sich (Kurzzeit)-Adaptation und Readaptation im Millisekundenbereich abspielen. Vor mehr als 30 Jahren hat Keidel den Adaptationszeitgang des Katzenohres an Hand von Summenaktionspotentialen des Hörnervs beschrieben, die von schnellen Folgen, bestehend aus ca. 15 Klicks mit unterschiedlicher Klickfolgefrequenz, ausgelöst wurden. Potentiale waren bis zu Klickfolgefrequenzen von 600/s registrierbar, Adaptation trat ab ca. 100/s ein.
