Abstract
In France some departments of pediatrics are housed in a general hospital. However, in many cities some hospitals are entirely devoted to children; in Paris there are five: Saint-Vincent de Paul, Trousseau, les Enfants-Malades, Robert Debré, and Bicêtre. This is also true in other cities: e.g., “hopital des Enfants” in Bordeaux, Saint-Charles in Montpellier, Debrousse in Lyon, Bretonneau in Tours, Charles Nicolle in Rouen, and Jeanne d’Arc in Vandoeuvre les Nancy.
