Zusammenfassung
Der selten benutzte Begriff simultane „Neuro-Rhinochirurgie“ besagt, daß die multidisziplinäre, neurochirurgisch-Hals-Nasen-Ohren-ärztliche operative Behandlung von bestimmten, fachüberschreitenden Erkrankungen nicht zweizeitig und getrennt nach Fachgebieten, sondern gleichzeitig in einer Narkose gemeinsam erfolgt. Damit ist weniger gemeint, daß die Vertreter beider Fachdisziplinen gleichzeitig arbeiten, vielmehr, daß beide abwechselnd aktiv werden und der jeweils andere assistiert und berät. Ob die Grenzgebiete der einzelnen Fächer dabei überschritten werden, spielt keine Rolle, da es sich im Prinzip um einen gemeinsamen Eingriff handelt, für den aber mehr als das Fachwissen einer Disziplin notwendig ist.
