Zusammenfassung

Die zunehmend differenzierte Diagnostik von Prozessen der Schädelbasis einerseits und die Entwicklung moderner Operationstechniken und neue Zugangswege zur Schädelbasis andererseits haben die Behandlungsmöglichkeiten bei primären und sekundären Prozessen der Schädelbasis wesentlich erweitert. Entscheidend für einen guten Behandlungserfolg ist dabei die enge Zusammenarbeit zwischen Radiologen, Neuroradiologen, Otorhinolaryngologen, Ophthalmologen, Kieferchirurgen, Neurochirurgen und plastischen Chirurgen.
