Zusammenfassung
The program EcoSiM is a collection of population models for use in ecological courses and exercices. The program is written for PC’s. The user-interface follows the SAA-Standard, different options for the graphic presentation of the simulation results are available. The implemented models extend from differential equations via Leslie matrices to the individuals’ approach and from single-spedes via two-spedes-interactions to ecosystems. Examples for applications of the program are presented.
