Part of the book series: Research Reports ESPRIT ((SPRITE,volume 1))

Abstract

A lot of technical drawings in many companies are still paper-based. To use this information in a documentation system, it has to be transformed into a computer readable format. The DCR application (see also chapter 5.2) of SPRITE enables this conversion. The system is based on the commercial vectorization product Gradas-GES. The next sections describe the system in more detail.
