Abstract
We have developed a new coding technique of the Lanczös method for exact diagonalization of quantum spin systems. The technique enables us to save the memory-space and CPU time in carrying out numerical calculation for substantially large system size. The algorithm, namely “subspace coding”, is discussed in detail.
