Abstract

In the framework of the two-sublattice model the dynamics of ionic defects in a thermalized hydrogen-bonded chain has been numerically studied. The mobilities of a positive and a negative defects have been evaluated that are in good agreement with the experimental data. The dynamics of non-topological supersonic acoustic solitons and their interaction with ionic defects have been also investigated.
