Abstract

We have developed a novel ASYNCHRONOUS time-resolved FT-IR spectrophotometer based on a conventional continuous-scan interferometer. In contrast to the existing method, this new method does not require the synchronization between the signal for time-resolving and the sampling timing of the A/D converter. The naming of “asynchronous time-resolved” comes from this feature.
