Epitaxial Relationships Between Adjacent Phases in Hydrated Monoolein

Abstract

We have observed a distinct epitaxial relationship between the Lα and HII phase in monoolein. Our results on the epitaxy between the Lα and Ia3d cubic phase are less conclusive, but suggest that there are two preferred epitaxial orientations.
