Adjuvant Therapy of Breast Cancer IV

Part of the book series: Recent Results in Cancer Research ((RECENTCANCER,volume 127))

Abstract

The growing interest in breast cancer biology and the development of sophisticated techniques have greatly contributed to the knowledge of cellular and molecular aspects of disease progression. Markers indicative of biological aggressiveness have been identified [1], and some of these have already passed from the laboratory to clinical application as valid prognostic indicators.
