Abstract

The critical fluctuations in type-II superconductors near H C2 (T) exhibit certain universal features due to the constraint on the form of the order parameter imposed by the external magnetic field. We discuss the physical consequences of this constraint and outline the description of fluctuations which provides a unified picture of the behavior of type-II superconductors both above and below H C2 (T).
