Abstract

In this paper, a new application of in situ FTIR-ATR spectroscopy for the study of the electrochemical reactions of polyaniline (PANI) in aqueous electrolytes is presented. The electrode consists of a metal grid evaporated on the surface of a ZnSe reflection element. The spectral changes of PANI during electrochemical oxidation reactions in electrolytes of different pH values are shown.
