Zusammenfassung

Die Diagnose ‘idiopathisches Parkinson Syndrom’ (IPS) beruht auf dem Nachweis der klinischen Kardinalsymptome Akinese, Rigor, Tremor und Störung der Stellreflexe. Nur rund 80% der Patienten mit der klinischen Diagnose IPS zeigen jedoch auch die dafür typischen neuropathologischen Veränderungen (4). In einem großen Teil der übrigen Fälle wurde neuropathologisch die Diagnose einer anderen degenerativen ZNS-Erkrankung wie einer Progressi ven Supranukleären Blickparese (PSP) oder einer Multisystematrophie (MSA) gestellt.
