Abstract

The Swiss Orthopedic Knee Study Group (Ortho-paedische Arbeitsgruppe Knie = OAK) decided in 1984 to develop a prospective evaluation sheet for the clinical assessment of acute and chronic knee instabilities. A small group of junior members was formed to undertake this task.
