Summary

For the dynamical analysis of discrete mechanical systems the method of multibody systems is well qualified. The resulting equations of motion are solved by simulation codes and displayed by computer animation. The paper presents an approach for the efficient computation of motions and reactions used for strength estimation and shape optimization including rigid- elastic beam systems.
