Dual Reciprocity

The existence of domain integrals, usually due to body forces or loading, in the integral equations of plate as well as non-linear, time dependent and some other types of problems reduces the efficiency of the boundary element method. Most essentially, the boundary mesh simplicity, a characteristic of the method that is crucial in computer aided design, is lost to the cumbersome domain discretization required by the solution. That is why considerable effort in BEM research has been concentrated on the transformation of domain integrals into boundary ones.
