Abstract
Theoretical models and computational approaches considered in previous chapters have been applied to the study of the electronic structure of such large classes of magnetic crystals that it is infeasible to review all of them. Instead, in the next two chapters we discuss some representative examples, which illustrate both the possibilities of direct numerical calculations of the electronic structure of magnetic crystals and give an idea of the results that can be obtained for different groups of crystals with different degrees of localization of magnetic electrons. The most delocalized are the itinerant states of magnetic electrons in metals.
