Zusammenfassung
In den 70er Jahren wurden erste immunologische Basisuntersuchungen bei Patienten mit Neurodermitis sowohl in der Zellkultur als auch in vivo vorgenommen. Achtzig Prozent der Neurodermitiker haben ein erhöhtes Serum- IgE und ihre Langerhans-Zellen der Haut haben IgE gebunden [1]. Autoren wie Lobitz und Hanifin stellten als erste fest, daß bei den Patienten Parameter der zellvermittelten Immunität wie der Lymphozytentransformationstest und die Leukozytenchemotaxis erniedrigt sein können [2, 3]. Große Bedeutung wurde der erniedrigten TLymphozytenzahl, besonders der CD8- positiven Suppressorzellen im peripheren Blut der Patienten beigemessen. Auch Einzelfallbeobachtungen, bei denen der Knochenmarktransfer von einem Atopiker auf ein nichtatopisches Individuum zum Ausbruch einer Neurodermititis führte, wurden als deutlicher Hinweis auf eine kausale Verursachung durch Leukozyten gewertet. In der Folge stellte sich sehr schnell heraus, daß viele dieser Parameter mit der Krankheitsintensität variieren und sich in Remi ionsphasen völlig normalisieren können. Diese Art immunologischer Abweichungen dürften demnach bei der Neurodermitis sekundär und nicht ursächlich sein.
