Zusammenfassung
Die Lichtbiologie der Melanome beschreibt den maßgeblichen exogenen Einfluß auf die menschliche Haut, der, immer ausgehend von der genetischen Situation, Pigmenttumoren auslöst (Initiation), deren Entwicklung beeinflußt (Progression) oder beide Einflüsse verbindet. Dabei spielt die biologisch wirksame Einzeldosis wie auch die kumulative Belastung mit dem UV-Anteil des Sonnenlichtes eine entscheidende Rolle. Künstliche Lichtquellen vermögen dazu beizutragen.
