Zusammenfassung

Mit der vor gut 15 Jahren inaugurierten endoskopischen Sphinkterotomie der Vater-Papille wurden neue Perspektiven für die Behandlung der Choledocholithiasis eröffnet [5]. Seither ist die endoskopische Technik standardisiert worden. Möglichkeiten und Grenzen dieser Methode wurden eingehend untersucht [2, 9, 12, 14, 21, 25, 29].

Herrn Prof. Dr. U. Gerlach zum 65. Geburtstag gewidmet.
