Zusammenfassung

Umwelt und Gesundheit ist ein multidisziplinäres Forschungsfeld von gegenwärtig rasch wachsender Bedeutung. Im Public-health-Kontext interessieren v. a. Studien zu Auswirkungen an großen Bevölkerungsgruppen. Die Arbeit von Wichmann et al. stellt ein Beispiel der analytischen Kombination versorgungsepidemiologischer Primär- und Sekundärdaten mit Routineexpositionsdaten aus einem bundesweit installierten Erfassungsnetz am Beispiel der Smogepisode 1985 dar.
