Zusammenfassung
Die Miniaturisierung von Sensor- und Rechnerelementen erlaubt die Verzahnung von Meßwertaufnahme und -analyse. Damit lassen sich Sensoren realisieren, die über die Vorverarbeitung der Signale hinaus, komplexe Aufgaben autonom übernehmen können und so eine gewisse Intelligenz aufweisen. Die Qualität dieser Sensoren wird daher primär durch die Software und damit durch die den Auswertealgorithmen zugrundeliegenden Modelle bestimmt. Der Beitrag diskutiert die zur Verfügung stehenden und erprobten Verfahren zur Qualitätsbeurteilung. Er geht dabei insbesondere auf die Bewertung von Bildanalyseverfahren ein und behandelt u. a. Fragen der geometrischen Präzision, der Sensitivität der Ergebnisse gegen Modellfehler und der Zulässigkeit von Interpretationen.
