Zusammenfassung

Vielleicht sollte ich einleitend betonen, daß ich keine persönliche Erfahrung mit der Anwendung von Lithium bei therapieresistenten Depressionen habe; diese Übersicht basiert vollständig auf der Analyse von Beobachtungen, die von anderen berichtet wurden. Aber es gibt eine Fülle an Literatur; eine Recherche in meiner Datenbank erbrachte über 50 Literaturhinweise, und voller Erwartung begann ich systematisch zu analysieren, was ich bis dahin nur kursorisch angesehen hatte.
