Abstract
Tracheobronchial suctions are routinely carried out by nurses and are essential for ventilated patients. Each intensive care unit empirically determines its own procedure without any evaluation. Universal guidelines have not been defined. Analyzing complications, we will try to clarify the safest suction techniques.
