Zusammenfassung
Jede größere Organisation erfordert die Festlegung bestimmter Regelungen, nach denen sie funktioniert. Als Beispiele seien Satzungen, Betriebsvereinbarungen und Geschäftsordnungen genannt, die meistens in Papierform vorliegen, z.B. [GMD85]. Ein Problem, das seit vielen Jahren im Mittelpunkt der Forschung über Büroinformationssysteme steht, ist die Frage, wie derartiges Wissen über Organisationen im Computer repräsentiert werden kann und wie Systeme zu konzipieren sind, die darauf zugreifen [BaJo83, EINa87]. Hier können Wissensrepräsentationsformalismen und Problemlösungsparadigmen der Künstlichen Intelligenz gewinnbringend eingesetzt werden.
