Zusammenfassung

Es war lange Zeit umstritten, welche Verfahrensweise zur Prophylaxe des Rezidivs eines peptisches Ulkus eingeschlagen werden solIte. Einerseits wurde propagiert, alIe Patienten dauernd zu behandeln; andererseits gab es Verfechter einer zeitlich begrenzten, intermittierenden Ulkustherapie.
