Zusammenfassung

Ein Referat über „entbehrliche Diagnostik“ läuft immer Gefahr auf Widerspruch zu stoßen, sobald im Auditorium Anwender einer diagnostischen Methode sitzen , die der Vortragende als entbehrlich bezeichnet. Der Referent kann diesem Problem bequem ausweichen, indem er nur älteste diagnostische Verfahren aufzählt, über deren Entbehrlichkeit gewiß allgemeiner Konsens herrscht . Mit solcher Taktik, allerdings, verliert das Referat jede Aktualität. Es wird gewissermaßen selber entbehrlich. Der Sinn dieser Thematik kann ja nur sein , auf entbehrliche, aber noch gehandhabte Diagnostik hinzuweisen, womit Meinungsunterschiede vorprogrammiert sind.
