Abstract

A large number of countries introduced mobile telephone Systems during the 1970’ s, but in general, most of the Systems are totally incompatible. There are a few e×ceptions, such as the Nordic system (NMT) but generally, a subscriber is not able to use his equipment to set up or receive calls outside his home country.
