Abstract

In parallel with the appearance of acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS), a marked increase was noted in the incidence of Kaposi’s sarcoma. This epidemic-type sarcoma differs in several ways from the classic form of Kaposi’s sarcoma (Rothman 1962; Safai 1987).
