Magnetic Oscillation of Many-Body Effects in Two-Dimensional Systems

Abstract

A review is given of effects of strong magnetic fields on electron-electron interactions in two-dimensional systems with a special emphasis on their oscillations caused by the singular density of states. It includes the oscillatory enhancement of the g factor due to exchange effects, self-consistent screening which gives rise to a strong oscillation of broadening of Landau levels and cyclotron resonance, and oscillations of photoluminescence energy found recently.
