Air Flow Visualizaton Using Titanium Tetrachloride

  • Chapter
Advances in Fluid Mechanics Measurements

Part of the book series: Lecture Notes in Engineering ((LNENG,volume 45))

Abstract

The titanium tetrachloride method of air flow visualization is traced to its beginnings. The method is described in detail to prospective users. Recent progress in visualizing unsteady separated vortex flows by means of this method is documented by many examples.
