Abstract

Four large complexes form the natural bases of the formative processes of river beds:
  • tectonics as the entirety of the horizontal and vertical movements of the crust controlled by endogene forces;

  • the lithology as a collective description of the mineralogical composition of the surface of the earth including the soils;

  • the climate as the sum of all atmospheric phenomena;

  • the vegetation.
