Zusammenfassung

Bei Tumoroperationen in der Zentralregion muß besonders der Gyrus praecentralis geschont werden, um neue oder zusätzliche Paresen zu vermeiden. Dies setzt eine exakte Lokalisation des Gyrus praecentralis voraus [4,6,10]. Variationen der kraniozerebralen Topographie oder eine Verlagerung und Deformation der Hirnwindungen durch die Raumforderung können eine exakte Lokalisation des Gyrus praecentralis verunmöglichen. Eine intraoperative sichere Lokalisation des Gyrus praecentralis ist mit Hilfe der direkten kortikalen elektrischen Stimulation möglich, wie deren Anwendung bei 21 Patienten mit Tumoren im Bereich des Gyrus praecentralis zeigte.
