Zusammenfassung

Nerve Growth Factor (NGF) ist ein neurotrophisch wirksames Protein, dessen physiologische Bedeutung sowohl in vivo (Versuchstier) als auch in vitro experimentell hervorragend belegt werden konnte [6, 7]. R. Levi-Montalcini wurde 1986 für die Entdeckung dieses Moleküls mit dem Nobelpreis für Medizin ausgezeichnet.
