Zusammenfassung

Aus klinisch-diagnostischer Sicht verdienen nur wenige der zahlreichen im Gastrointestinaltrakt vorkommenden Peptidhormone unser Interesse. Sie konnen v.a dann, wenn sie in endokrinen Tumoren vermehrt gebildet und aus diesen ungebremst freigesetzt werden, dramatische Krankheitsbilder verursachen, die durch eine charakteristische klinische Symptomatik gekennzeichnet sind. Diese Krankheitsentitaten, die für sie verantwortlichen Hormone sowie die Ursache der Hormonuberproduktion sind in Tabelle 10.1 zusammengefaßt
