Zusammenfassung
Um das Interesse und die Bedeutung der HNO-Heilkunde und der Humangenetik füreinander zu charakterisieren, sollen 3 Aussagen und ihre Gegensätze konstruiert werden. Sie orientieren sich an der Gehörlosigkeit als einem bekannten und typischen Beispiel. Dieses hat eine erhebliche, ebenso individuelle wie soziale Bedeutung, und das Problem der Gehörlosen beschäftigt seit langem den Arzt und die Gesellschaft.
