Treatment of Idiopathic Osteonecrosis of the Femoral Head by Free Vascularized Peroneal Graft
We have used the technique of free vascularized peroneal graft for idiopathic necrosis of the femoral head since 1978. A total of 72 hips have been operated, of which 68 have been reviewed during the last 6 months. The average follow-up is 3 years. The oldest cases have been followed up for 7 years, and all the cases have at least 1 year follow-up.
