In Victoria, der Hauptstadt von British Columbien, der westlichsten Provinz von Kanada, wurde im Zuge der Eröffnung eines modernen Allgemeinen Krankenhauses 1983 eine auf zeitgemäße Technologie ausgerichtete Abteilung für Medizinische Bilddiagnostik (“Medical Imaging Department”) eingerichtet.
