Abstract

The historical development of knownledge regarding the right ventricle is tightly linked to that of the cardiovascular system which is the cornerstone of understanding of human physiology. The history of this phase of intellectual advance is long and full of intense human interest. It is also stimulating in a practical way to consider how our knowledge of the operation of the heart and blood vessels were obtained.

Gorny [1])
